Dook Ferret:

The Pizzeria - actual name unknown - is located about a block away from Dook and Flops' home. The duo are the most frequent, and quite possibly the only customers. The entire menu appears to be tailored to the two.

The decorations are an eclectic mix of tacky cultural appropriation that doesn't seem able to make up its mind about where it's going, typically mixing at least three to four cultures. Despite the decorations appearing to sometimes change, they always look kind of dingy and sad.

Flops comes running, carrying a broadsheet newspaper. He removes the staples and expertly folds the loose paper sheets into a FIM-92 Stinger missile and associated launcher. He loads the missile into the tube, shoulders the weapon, takes aim and pulls the trigger. Neither Dook nor Flops are surprised when the weapon actually fires..."

Flops comes running, carrying a broadsheet newspaper. He removes the staples and expertly folds the loose paper sheets into a FIM-92 Stinger missile and associated launcher. He loads the missile into the tube, shoulders the weapon, takes aim and pulls the trigger. Neither Dook nor Flops are surprised when the weapon actually fires, and they watch the missile streak toward the flying saucer, striking it and causing it to fall out of the sky and land on its side in the field.

Dook applauds, and an offscreen tennis audience claps along while a sports channel style infographic briefly pops up announcing the score is ''Flops: 15 - [illegible alien script]: love'' and that the event is sponsored by Posh♔Gits (est. 1866).

A number of cows climb out of the stricken flying saucer through the hole made by the missile and run off, indignantly mooing. Dook counts them on his fingers.

Flops theatrically clears his throat loudly.

Dook faces the viewers with a stern expression.

Dook: Remember, being on fire is dangerous and harmful. Always ask an adult before becoming on fire.

Flops pulls out a couple of sheets of papers and puts on reading glasses, examining the papers.

Channel 66 is a local UHF TV channel that broadcasts outdated news bulletins, public service announcements and the regional weather. For some reason the weather report features several communities that don't actually exist in the area, including one town which has apparently had a hurricane right on top of it since mid August, 1988.

The programming is on a one hour loop which runs continually, alternating between English and R'lyehan. The station manager has no idea how or why the R'lyehan version gets transmitted but has stated it's on "like, the bottom ten tier of weird things" going on in the region. The mayor agrees.

Dook will occasionally watch the channel and it is, in fact, the only channel he watches on TV.
