RoleMain Character

The Billboard Rep is an overworked, perpetually stressed-out ad salesman responsible for managing outdoor advertisements across Sala City and its surrounding districts. Always one coffee short of a breakdown, he’s the unfortunate soul who has to deal with chaotic clients, unpredictable billboard failures, and constant complaints from both the public and his supervisors. Despite his constant state of internal panic, he somehow keeps the whole system running—barely.

Personality

  • Nervous & High-Strung: Always on edge, speaks rapidly, and reacts to minor inconveniences like they’re apocalyptic.
  • Overburdened but Committed: Desperately tries to do his job right, even when everything is falling apart.
  • Reactive & Apologetic: Offers apologies before people finish complaining, often followed by a nervous laugh.
  • Tries to be Professional: Wants to present himself as a clean-cut rep, but is clearly unraveling behind the smile.

Abilities

  • Logistical Acrobatics: Can coordinate ad placements, maintenance crews, and emergency removals in real time—usually while sweating profusely.
  • Damage Control Specialist: Trained to spin PR disasters into “unique branding opportunities.”
  • Crisis Tolerance: Can hold a phone, fill out a damage report, and panic silently all at once.

Appearance

  • Fur/Skin: Pale pink with a few stress-induced patches of darker coloration.
  • Eyes: Wide, darting constantly, often behind smudged glasses.
  • Clothing: Wears denim overalls over a white button-up shirt with rolled sleeves. Keeps business cards in every visible pocket, though most are bent or have coffee stains.

Relationships

  • Dook: Doesn’t understand Dook at all and suspects he might be the reason for several billboard "malfunctions."
  • Flops: Has a love-hate relationship with Flops, who often hijacks ad space or damages installations. Flops insists it’s “performance art.”
  • Vivian: She once bought a massive billboard campaign that collapsed due to “structural ambition.” He still hasn’t recovered.
  • Officer Barky: Regularly files vandalism reports through Barky, who usually responds with a sigh and a pen toss.

Trivia

  • Has memorized the entire billboard maintenance code, but no one listens to him.
  • Keeps a clipboard with six layers of duct tape holding it together.
  • Once passed out during a live campaign launch due to stress and returned to find it somehow successful.
  • Claims his phone only rings when something’s gone wrong. He’s not wrong.
  • His catchphrase is “That’s not covered by the ad budget.”

“No, that wasn’t supposed to explode. That was not part of the approved design!” — The Billboard Rep
